What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants offer an excellent remedy for damaged or missing teeth, typically consisting of two key components: a titanium screw securely implanted into the jawbone and a crown, bridge, or denture that connects to this screw.

These implants are the ideal solution for tooth loss, providing the opportunity for a natural-looking smile that stands the test of time. What sets them apart is their relatively swift and minimally discomforting fitting process, in contrast to other dental procedures.

How much do Dental Implants cost?

At Access Dental, we're dedicated to making dental implants accessible to you without any upfront expenses. Our mission is to deliver top-notch, long-lasting dental care at a budget-friendly rate.

During your initial consultation, your Treatment Coordinator will walk you through a variety of payment alternatives tailored to your needs. Your smile's future is now within reach!

What are Overdentures?

Overdentures received their name because they are a denture that goes over something. That something is most often a dental implant, but it can also retain teeth. When smiling, an overdenture will look very similar to a conventional, full-mouth denture. The difference is in how they function. Let’s explore the benefits of implant and/or tooth overdentures in the Delaware county area. Dr.Anvar and his team has over 10 years of experience in restoring implant-supported dentures.

IMPLANT-RETAINED OVERDENTURES

An implant-supported overdenture is a denture that rests over the top of one or multiple implants. Like their conventional counterparts, you can remove these dentures from your mouth. Implant overdentures differ from conventional, full-mouth dentures in that they are connected to dental implants and are placed and anchored into the jawbone.

This creates a very desirable advantage. Implant-retained overdentures click onto an abutment connected to the dental implant. This clicking into place creates a denture that will stay very still in the mouth. With this advanced technology, you can regain your self-confidence and improve your oral health.

Recipients often report absolutely no denture movement, and that is without the use of any denture adhesive! In this situation, the denture still receives its support from the mouth tissues and jawbone, but the dental implants increase the denture retention or its ability not to move. Since the implants do not support the denture, most patients can receive a major benefit in denture retention from as few as two dental implants.

All-on-4 dental implants to restore all the teeth in the smile

At AccessDental Center, Dr.Anvar Mohammadh and Dr.Deepshikha Kapoor can assist Delaware and Philadelphia county, PA area patients with restoring their smiles after significant tooth loss. While traditional full dentures are often the go-to choice, we are pleased to offer a stronger, more durable, and quality-of-life enhancing alternative called All-on-4 dental implants.

What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 is an advanced dental implant treatment that can provide you with a brand new set of permanent teeth in lieu of a removable full denture. Unlike traditional implants, which typically require multiple surgeries and a large number of implants to restore a full arch of teeth, All-on-4 uses just four implants to support an entire arch of replacement teeth. This treatment is perfect for patients who have lost all of their natural teeth and those looking for an alternative to dentures to improve their quality of life. In addition to being more convenient and comfortable than dentures, these implants will also help to preserve your jawbone and facial structure.

Am I a candidate for All-on-4 dental implants and restoration?

If you have lost or are about to lose all your natural teeth or are looking to replace your dentures with a more permanent and comfortable solution, you may be a candidate for All-on-4 dental implants. This treatment is also an option for patients who have severe bone loss in their jaw, as multiple traditional implants may not be a viable solution. Some patients may need additional procedures before undergoing this treatment, including dental extractions and bone grafting. Our team can evaluate your unique needs and help you decide if you are a good fit for All-on-4 implants and dentures.
